This shift is due to the use of the numerically exact (in the strongcoupling limit) energy levels and wave functions of the internal excited polaron states, as well as the numerically exact self-consistent adiabatic polaron potential. Furthermore, the inclusion of the corrections of order α0 leads to a shift of the OC spectra to lower frequencies with respect to the OC spectra calculated within the leading-term approximation.
